Designed for continuous operations, the PLC is the “decision maker” of the system. The Touch Screen and Graphic Panels communicate with the PLC to display status and request action. The PLC reads the status of physical inputs (such as door position switches) and then performs logical decisions to manipulate the condition of outputs (such as door open relays) and can communicate with external systems using serial and Ethernet communication.
