VBrick EtherneTV Media Distribution Systems
Using EtherneTV media distribution systems from VBrick Systems, Inc., a pioneer in developing networked video solutions, increases the value of live and stored video to reduce costs and increase productivity.
EtherneTV is a highly scalable, simple, reliable system that can be adapted for any application, from a single school or office building, to a sprawling campus with global network connections. Yet it retains its plug-and-play ease, no matter how large your system grows.
EtherneTV Media Distribution Systems include:
EtherneTV-MCS Media Control Server
The MCS manages the inventory of live, on-demand, and scheduled video assets. The MCS automatically pushes the necessary components to the desktop, allowing for instant viewing of any video directly from within the user’s browser.
EtherneTV-NXG Video-on-Demand Servers
The NXG provides the same video-on-demand features that are typically found in much more expensive offerings. It supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video formats for maximum flexibility. Multiple NXG servers can be clustered allowing easy expansion while maintaining simple access for end users.
EtherneTV-STB Set Top Box
The STB is the latest generation digital set top box that provides a low-cost, standalone decoder for MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video assets. Developed to work seamlessly with the NXG and MCS, this device can provide up to DVD-quality video to a TV or VGA monitor. Control is provided by a simple IR remote or through an optional wireless keyboard.
